🌀 Sarabellum
Your brain isn’t broken.
Your to-do list is.
One ecosystem for everything task, note, journal and focus related — built for the neurodivergent brain, by one of them. Capture the thought the second it hits. Sort it out later. Reset without shame when you fall behind.
Free while we’re in beta. No card, no trial countdown, no catch.
No streaks. No red overdue walls. No guilt. Capture first, organize later. Today is small. Survive neglect.
Why this exists
We tried every app. None of them were built for us.
Every planner, every to-do list, every project manager. They’re all built for someone who already has executive function — who can start, prioritise and remember without help. If you could do that, you wouldn’t need the app.
What every other app assumes
- That you’ll categorise the thought before you lose it
- That a red “overdue” badge is motivating
- That a 47-day streak is a reason to keep going, and losing it is your fault
- That you’ll come back tomorrow and face yesterday’s pile
- That more features, in more places, is more help
What we built instead
- Capture first, organize later — dump it now, sort it whenever
- No streaks, no red walls, no guilt. Ever
- Falling behind triggers a gentle reset, not a shame spiral
- Push what’s left to tomorrow in one tap. Nothing lost, nothing late
- Simple surface, deep structure — one home screen, everything under it
The loop
Capture. Curate. Focus.
Three moves, forever. The whole app is these three things and the space to do them badly without it mattering.
Capture
The thought arrives at the worst possible moment, as they do. Throw it in the Brain Dump — no project, no tag, no due date, no decisions. It autosaves. It’ll keep. The one job is getting it out of your head before it evaporates.
Curate
Later, calmly, turn the pile into tasks and drop them in a bucket: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Someday. Today stays deliberately small — a shortlist, not the mountain. The mountain is still there. It just isn’t looking at you.
Focus
Promote exactly one thing to Right Now and start the timer. Everything else disappears. Work as long as it flows; the longer you focus, the longer the break you earn. That’s the deal, and it’s the opposite of a pomodoro.
in flow · break earned: 9:26
Flow state
A timer that rewards flow instead of interrupting it.
Standard pomodoros break you out of the thing you finally, miraculously got into. Ours runs the other way: work as long as it’s working, and the break you earn grows with it — all the way up to a three-hour deep session.
One task at a time. Promote something new and the old one steps politely back to Today. There’s never more than one thing in front of you, because there’s never more than one thing you can actually do.
Meet Sara
Executive function you can text.
Sara is an AI accountability partner wired directly into your system — hype-woman, gentle bully, and the part of your brain that keeps the plan. She reads your whole setup, so you never have to explain yourself twice.
Ask her what to do next and she’ll pick, promote it, and start your timer. She nudges you morning and evening in Discord, where you already are. And every action she takes leaves a receipt, so you can always see what she actually did rather than what she said she did.
Social proof
This is where the beta’s words go.
No testimonials yet — the beta is new. When people say things worth quoting, they’ll be here, with their names on them.
Used it and have thoughts? Tell us — the good and the bad.
Everything in one place
One ecosystem. Not eleven tabs.
The tax of most systems isn’t the work, it’s the switching. Tasks here, notes there, journal in a third place, timer on your phone. Everything below is one app.
Tasks & buckets
Right Now, Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Backlog, Someday. Drag between them. One task lives in exactly one place.
🧠Brain Dump
Structure-free capture with autosave. Turn a wall of text into real tasks line by line — later.
🌀Focus flow
The reverse pomodoro. One task, a timer that grows your break, and chimes at every transition.
💬Sara, your AI partner
Reads and acts on your whole system, runs your timer, remembers you, and finds you in Discord.
🔁Habits & routines
Daily checklists that reset overnight. Miss a day and nothing breaks, because nothing was counting.
📓Journal & check-ins
Named journals, dated or evergreen, and a mood/energy check-in with 90-day trends. Data about you, for you.
✨Wisdom & mantras
The things you keep having to re-learn, kept where you’ll actually re-read them.
🧹Clean Slate
The shame-free reset. Sweep everything, keep nothing hanging over you, start from calm.
🔔Discord gateway
Morning and evening nudges, plus slash commands to capture and chat from your phone.
Pricing
Free while we’re in beta.
Not free-with-an-asterisk. Not a 14-day countdown. Free, because it’s early, it’s rough in places, and charging for that would be rude. Paid plans will come later, and we’ll say so long before they do.
Questions
The things people ask.
Is it actually free?
Yes — completely, while we’re in beta. No card, no trial timer, no locked features waiting to spring. We pay for the AI out of pocket right now. When that stops being sustainable we’ll introduce paid plans and tell you well in advance. See Pricing for the full, honest picture.
Do I need to be diagnosed with anything?
No. It’s built around an AuDHD brain because that’s the brain that built it, and everything follows from that — but plenty of people who’ve never been near an assessment are exhausted by productivity guilt and would like a calmer system. You’re welcome here either way.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Sarabellum runs in any browser and works on your phone — you can add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app. A real App Store release is on the roadmap. There’s no Android version and none planned. See Download.
What makes it different from Todoist or Notion?
Those are excellent tools built on an assumption we can’t meet: that you can already start, prioritise and remember. They’ll happily let you build a beautiful system you then can’t face opening. Sarabellum assumes the opposite — that capture has to cost nothing, that today has to be small, and that falling behind should be survivable.
What happens to my data?
It lives in a Postgres database where the database itself — not the app — enforces that only your account can read your rows. It’s never sold and never shared. The one honest exception is that whoever operates the service can technically reach the database, the same as with every hosted app anywhere; we say so out loud rather than pretending otherwise. Details on Privacy and Security.
Who is Sara reading my stuff?
Sara is Claude, from Anthropic, running in a locked-down serverless function with a snapshot of your system. Your data isn’t used to train anyone’s model. If Sara isn’t your thing, ignore her — the rest of the app doesn’t need her.
